pure::variants 3.0.2 Installation for Eclipse

Prerequisites

This pure::variants release requires Java 1.5 (or newer) and Eclipse 3.2.x or 3.3.x to be installed.

Get Java from the official Java Download Site. Follow the installation instructions on the web page.

Get Eclipse from the official Eclipse Download Site. Simply unzip the download in a convenient location and start the eclipse.exe (Windows) / eclipse (other platforms) program inside the eclipse folder.

pure::variants Installation

To install these plugins, point your Eclipse Update Manager at this site.

Help
    > Software Updates
       > Find and Install...
          > Search for new features to install
             > New Remote Site...
                * Name: pure::variants Update Manager Site for Eclipse
                * URL:    http://web.pure-systems.com/pvce-update/

Please restart Eclipse after installing the plugin.

Alternatively it is possible to download archived update site files containing the current pure::variants version. To install from an archived update site, simply download the updates site(s), and follow the instructions given above with the exeception to use "New Archived Site" instead of "New Remote Site". Select the download zip file in the file selection dialog.
